Star of Fear, Star of Hope is the book we are reading right now in Literacy. It takes place in France during Nazi occupation. A lot of you had questions and were wondering more about this time in history. Use the internet as a resource to learn more information about WWII and the Nazi occupation.

One question I had is: Did Nazi's go to Jewish people's home and take them away? The answer to that question is yes Nazi's took Jewish people away. Many Jewish people's lives were taken in that time in history. It was a horrible time. The Jewish people had to hide from the French police. If they were found, they were taken to concentration camps. They also had to wear a yellow star so that they can be identified.
One of my questions were:Why did Hitler Dislike Jewish people so much? I hope that this book can tell me.
I learned a lot about "Star of Fear,Star of Hope" the star in the day time is bad and the star in the night time is good. I learned that many people died those days too.

I get why in the story they said that sometimes when it's day light and the stars are on the ground it doesnt always bring good. But when It's night time it might be good but you can only hope. I think that they are trying to say that in day time they are more visible and in night time they have a better chance to escape. So there. That's my thing.
